Find a Grave is the best place on the internet to look for burial and other final disposition information for family, friends and famous people.
Find a Grave helps people from all over the world work together to find, record, and present final disposition information as a virtual cemetery experience. At Find a Grave you’ll find details about cemeteries and individual memorials for many people buried in those cemeteries. Memorials generally include birth, death and burial information and may include pictures, biographies, family information and more. Members can contribute what they know and can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

Ohio Memory
Established in 2000, Ohio Memory is the collaborative statewide digital library program of the Ohio History Connection and the State Library of Ohio. On this free website, you can explore digital content from over 390 cultural heritage institutions representing all 88 of Ohio’s counties covering a wide range of topics from prehistory to present day.
Ohio Memory contains over 1,000,000 digital images from a variety of primary and secondary source image types, including, photographs, maps, drawings and paintings; manuscripts, letters, diaries and journals; archaeological artifacts, natural history specimens and historical objects, newspapers, books and e-publications; and audio and video.
Materials are selected for inclusion on Ohio Memory based on their historical significance, scanning potential, complementary value, and ownership and copyright.
Ohio Obituary Index
The Ohio Obituary Index contains over 3,700,000 obituaries, death & marriage notices & other sources from Ohio from the 1810s to the present day. This database contains about 90% newspaper citations and about 10% other sources. Actual obits may be ordered from over 65 partner libraries; only Hayes Library has online ordering.
